The Mountainair Chamber of Commerce (on Facebook too) January meeting will be held on Tue, January 3, 11:30 am at Jerry's Ancient Cities Cafe. The newly elected officers will be installed, then we'll get 2012 off to a flying start! See you there.
In the (entirely predictable) absence, of additional information, we add the following details. 2012 officers are President, Red Kingston; VP, Glenn Fulfer; VP: Dee Tarr, Treasurer: Carmen Kayser, Corresponding Secretary, Trudy Cusack; Recording Secretary Kathy Littlefield; Jay Mortenson, Member at Large. Glenn Fulfer, Kathy Littlefield and Jay Mortenson are returning to positions held for the past year or longer. Outgoing BoD members are Scott Remmich, Dorothy Cole and Dennis Fulfer are
Red Kingston, 2011 VP, is not new to the board but newly elected as President. Dee is not new to the chamber and probably served on the board at some time in the past, but if so, not recently. Carmen Kayser and Trudy Cusack are new to Chamber and Board.
This constitutes more of an agenda than usual. We hope to post more detailed introductions and statements from new officers. Although most readers know who everyone is and something about them, the knowledge may not be universal. Its absence could be a factor contributing to lack of involvement with the local chamber.
